Dr Aristides Matopoulos
I arrived at Aston University in August 2011, as a Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Currently, I am the Principal Investigator in project DISCUS that examines Drivetrain Integration, Supply Chain Upscaling and Streamlining in the Electric vehicle sector. Prior to this I worked as Adjunct Lecturer for four years in the University of Macedonia, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and also at City College, the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield teaching Logistics and Supply Chain related modules to BSc, MSc and Executive MBA students. Since 2015, I have been engaged as a Senior Lecturer and am also now a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.
Previously, I have worked as in research within the FP6 European Project ‘e-Trust’ for 3 years, which manages exploration and analysis of the trust factors affecting companies in the food chain in their transition from traditional to electronic B2B relationships I have also been involved in several projects as a freelance consultant.
