Your marketing strategy helps you to define how you will take your products and services to your customers, driving your business forwards. Developing the right strategy for your business can help you establish your place in new markets and maintain focus in your current channels.
This interactive workshop will provide you with a toolkit to define where you are now, where you want to be and explore how you are going to get there. Split over two, short information packed sessions you will consider where your business is now and how you reach your customers using techniques to map this. There will be a chance to explore elements of digital marketing and aspects of consumer behaviour that you could be used to inform your strategy.
Two key academics from the University of Derby’s Business School will deliver the workshops. Tracy Powell – Digital Marketing Programme Leader and Lee Miller Associate Lecturer in Marketing have wealth of experience in this field, having worked in industry themselves and providing support asbusiness mentors for a number of companies.
These workshops will take place on two separate dates. An overview of each day:

There will be an opportunity for a business mentoring session with Tracy and Lee to discuss your strategy and how you can develop it further.

Who We Are
Enscite is a three-year collaboration between the University of Derby, Aston University and Derby City Council to support businesses in the planes, trains and automobile sectors to improve their productivity to facilitate growth and competitive advantage. It is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Company Eligibility Criteria
This workshop is for companies with:
- Under 250 employees
- Turnover not exceeding €50 million
- Trading office located in the D2N2 LEP area
- A business that is part of the Planes, Trains and Automobiles Supply Chain
Unfortunately Statutory Provision or Under 18’s are not eligible.
